(This album has instrumental fusion of rock guitar influences with raw African traditional rhythms and drumming songs.)

Ms Sey, Director of the Arts Council of Ghana approached and asked me to write the music for a dance drama, “OSAMARIMA,” written by Asiedu Yirenkyi and Dr. A. W. W. Tamakloe and choreographed by Professor Ofosu Adinku, lecturers from the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Legon.

The music on this album, IFORGI WRATRAD — Instrumental Fusion Of Rock Guitar Influences With Raw African Traditional Rhythms And Drumming — was the final result of this collaboration.

The brief was to compose a fusion of my personal style of rock guitar playing with raw African traditional rhythms and drumming.

I worked with GODWIN AGBELI, the master drummer of master drummers, and his drumming group, SANKOFA, one of the best traditional drumming groups in Ghana to bring the dance drama to fruition.

This was another music experience of a lifetime, equalling my time as Music
